Online Exemption Filing
Welcome to exemption online filing. Our office is pleased to provide this service to new homeowners in Marion County.

Exemptions can provide significant property tax savings, and this interactive system will walk you through the qualification and application process. Many exemptions are available through this process, however, we ask that qualified seniors and combat veterans visit us in person for those additional exemptions.

To see if you qualify, please read: Eligibility Criteria

In order to begin your filing process you will need to:
  1. Gather necessary documentation establishing your qualifications to file.
  2. Request a Personal Identification Number (PIN).
  3. Log in to online filing.
The Marion County Property Appraiser's Office is currently accepting pre-file applications for 2018. The deadline for 2018 exemptions is Thursday, March 1, 2018. If you have any questions, please contact our office at 352-368-8300.
